Also, you will find a listing below my recipe here for the other #SundaySupper participants' awesome recipes featuring Land O Lakes Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt! You will never run out of recipe ideas or butter ideas when you link up with the #SundaySupper chefs!
Here is what I made with this decadent butter ~
Fettuccine with Butter Cream Sauce and Turkey Sausage
Ingredients:
1 lb. bionaturae Whole Wheat organic fettuccine + sea salt~ follow pkg.
instructions
1 T. Land O Lakes Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Butterball Turkey Sausage, sliced
1 large shallot, chopped
1 can drained artichoke hearts in water, chopped
1 can drained fire roasted tomatoes, chopped
1 c. pitted kalamata olives, halved
sea salt and cracked pepper to taste
¼ c. white wine
½ c. heavy cream
2/3 c. shredded havarti and romano cheeses (half and half)
4 T. Land O Lakes butter with olive oil & sea salt
fresh chopped basil (from my garden!)
In a large skillet, heat 1 T. butter on medium high. Fry sausage
slices until browned on both sides. Add shallot and cook stirring to bring to
translucent stage. Add wine to deglaze. Cook for two minutes to reduce.
Add the veggie ingredients and simmer on med low for about 10
minutes. Taste for seasoning.
Meanwhile, cook pasta until al dente in a large pot of heavily salted boiling water. Drain and set aside. Add butter
and cream to sauce mixture. Stir until it thickens slightly. Add cheese and
stir to melt. Add pasta and stir to coat. (It's a good idea to use a little pasta water so I just scoop out the noodles and add into sauce, rather than draining completely.) Serve with fresh chopped basil and enjoy
the buttery goodness of Land O Lakes Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt! YUMMY
and EASY!
